"Designing variable space", L'Arca, n°248 (2009)

Catastrophes are not always experienced as events to be avoided at all costs, on the contrary sometimes they have been analyzed as a means of good overcoming evil (The Great Flood), as a means of controlling socio-demographic problems (Malthus’s Theory) or as a synthesis of class conflict (Marx’s proletarian revolution); we are living in an age of constant changes occurring at previously unknown rates, bringing about instability in behavioral patterns and ways of using space.
